STANDING EASY
How we handle
Gravity
Or shows the way we fail
Sometimes I stand
Inside my bones
Just to see
If they recall
The way it's done
Since careful
Seldom brings along
A share of grace
I find that
Dance has slipped away
I've noticed that when
Brittle wants to break
Movement
Can become
A thing
The bones will fear
Imagine that:
Afraid to dance.
I think I miss that
Most of all.
